I have an older Benelli Super Black Eagle shotgun that the finish has some pretty good wear on, and would like to have it refinished. Does anyone have any recommendations on particular finishes and or shops to send it to. I checked out Robar on-line, and the Rogard finish looks pretty good but I have never spoken to anyone that had it done. I like the gun and plan on keeping it, so I want something that will last, just basic black matte similar to what it has now.

Try here. I have about 6 or 7 guns done by Mac's and have been very happy with the work and the finish.

Another guy that does excellent work is CAS II.
He's painted several of my fiberglass stocks.
