Anyone out there use a "Traditions" made shotgun. I have never heard of them and my neighbour wants to buy one and can't decide between a Mossberg semi auto or this traditions name brand in semi auto. Any help would be appreciated.

I have an Italian-made Fausti Stefano .410 O/U (Model Elegant E/A) that I absolutly adore. Not long after I got it, I emailed them (Fausti) looking to get a similar shotgun in 16 ga. Thinking I was emailing them from the US (I'm in the service stationed in Germany) they asked me to contact their USA distributor--Traditions Firearms

I can't speak for their autoloaders, or if the ones with the "Traditions" name are 'export' models (less/more quality?) but I am definitely pleased with the quality of their O/U's. Fausti answered my emails pretty quick. I'm sure they would answer any questions you may have.

By the way, the German distributor for Fausti (RUAG-Dynamit Nobel) can't seem to get me a 16 ga, although Fausti says they do make them--go figure
