Winchester's newest AA hull uses the same load data that applied to the original version. I use them for low-pressure loads but prefer Remingtons for all other uses.

Same here! Once I use up AA's, will stick w/STS. They last longer, and are in good shape almost until they fail (many reloadings later). Chuck

I use the AA's for one ounce loads in 12 Gauge. More shot causes the sidewalls to buckle on about every 5th shell. They are very durable. I prefer the Remington's for 1 and 1/8 oz loads.

If you go to Winchester's website, they have instructions on how to reload the new hulls. Basically, it means about 60 lbs of wad pressure and lowering the crimp starter to where the opening is smaller than a pencil eraser. The hull isn't as strong, and increasing the wad pressure "pre-collapses" the wad so it moves down easier when crimping. As far as hulls, I like anything I can pick up free and run through my pump or my wife's auto. Currently, Federal Top Guns are high on my list. HTH, Dutch.
