I've got an old 870 Express in 3" mag 12 gauge. Wanted to put an aftermarket choke on to deidicate it to turkey hunting. Usually shoot #5's....The full and extra full it came with don't pattern very well--just looking for recommendations.

Thanks--Don

Get a STAR DOT if you can find one or a BANSNER ! Don't fool around with any of the others , these will out shoot any of them !

Thanks Mainer, I'm trying a couple, know where I can get a stardot, but haven't seen a Bansner. Will look around for one though.

Sadly the only way to know is to pattern with the different choke tubes and then when you get a different box of ammo the fun begins again.

I like #5's for turkey hunting, too, and have had good results with Comp-N-Choke, Rhino, and Primos JellyHead choke tubes on several different shotguns.
