I saw it mentioned on the "Best (affordable ) SXS shotgun thread", but does anyone have a B Rizzini BR552 or 550? Or shot one? Handled one? I'm dreaming of a nice SxS shotgun with a pistol grip and splinter stock, and the Rizzini BR 552 has caught my eye. I have a Tristar 20 gauge SxS and shot a few pheasants with it last year and loved using it. I'm looking to take a step up and buy something nicer than a Tristar. Thanks | ||

I have been shooting a 28 ga sxs BR550 over the last six months. Shows very good quality all through-out. The fit and finish are good to exceptional. The only issue I would have is that after using a single barrel and opening the gun to reload, I have on numerous times had both barrels eject,even though one has a loaded cartridge. The ejector is not fully out, as in the empty hull, but none the less both are thrown free of the gun. | |||

I have a 550, that’s a two barrel set, 16 and 20 ga. It’s on a 20 ga frame and weighs just over 6 pounds. Have shot a couple hundred rounds through each barrel set. It’s been flawless so far and quite easy on the eyes. NRA Patron member | |||

I have a BR550 in 28 gauge. I have never had a moment's problem with it and I love the way it carries and handles. I've carried sxs shotguns for many years and this is a favorite. | |||

We service them in our shop. Well made guns. When we do see them it is usually for extraction/ejection or firing pins issues (after many '000's of rounds. Those parts and their supporting systems are relatively inexpensive, but availability can be problematic. My advice is to buy spares when you purchase the gun so you'll have them when needed.

My 16 ga gun arrived and it has double triggers and a left hand stock. It's a very nice gun with 28" barrels. Screw chokes in the barrels. It weighs 6 lb 3 oz and patterns nicely. Quick, Cheap, or Good: Pick Two | |||

B. Rizzini guns are the base for the William Powell UK branded guns. Royal Sports Arms has guns in stock. Some good prices. The 110s are 2500 the 220s are just under 5k. I’ll tell you from shooting one, a 110 30-32 inch sporter is well balanced, but heavy calculated gun. The gun had an adjustable comb, but I did not need to adjust it. B. Rizzini USA shows about a 1k increase in price over 3 months ago. That is because of tariffs. | |||

Already ordered 28ga 3" with 28" tubes, De Luxe version and wood upgrade (I will choose wood). I hope to get it before autumn pheasant/hare or duck hunts start. Jiri | |||
