I have a K-32 receiver with extensive gold inlays and a fine Turkish walnut stock blank. I have a top gunsmith for the metal work, but I'm not crazy about his wood fit and finish work.

I'm looking for a stock "artist" who has experience with Krieghoff shotgun fit and finish.

You will have a hard time beating Brent Umburger of Ohio if he is still working. He's a wiz with the wood and fitting for target gun stocks. Beautiful work and will probably increase the value of the gun also.

I have all of my stock work done by SoftTouch/Shooter's Emporium which is located in Portland, Oregon.
Everytime I'm there, I always see Krieghoff shotguns all over the shop having stock adjustment, checkering, clear coating and etc's. As a matter of fact, I met Don Allen of Dakota arms there which I assumed was talking about prototype stocks for Dakota shotguns.

I don't know if Brent is still alive, but he fitted and prepared one of my guns, albeit not a K-32. That was many moons ago. I don't think you can go wrong with him.
