Bryan WKrieghoff K-32 stock work
I have a K-32 receiver with extensive gold inlays and a fine Turkish walnut stock blank. I have a top gunsmith for the metal work, but I'm not crazy about his wood fit and finish work.
I'm looking for a stock "artist" who has experience with Krieghoff shotgun fit and finish.

<redleg155>You will have a hard time beating Brent Umburger of Ohio if he is still working. He's a wiz with the wood and fitting for target gun stocks. Beautiful work and will probably increase the value of the gun also.

NorsemanI have all of my stock work done by SoftTouch/Shooter's Emporium which is located in Portland, Oregon.
Everytime I'm there, I always see Krieghoff shotguns all over the shop having stock adjustment, checkering, clear coating and etc's. As a matter of fact, I met Don Allen of Dakota arms there which I assumed was talking about prototype stocks for Dakota shotguns.
Ask for Moe @ (503) 257-0524. BTW, it's best to call before 10:30 A.M. PST.

Sierra_DaveBryan,
I would have to second redleg's sound advice and here is the link to Umberger's site:

I don't know if Brent is still alive, but he fitted and prepared one of my guns, albeit not a K-32. That was many moons ago. I don't think you can go wrong with him.
Good Luck,

Bryan WThanks guys!
I've had the receiver, forend iron and stock blank in the gun vault for years and kept telling myself I'ld get around to building it some day.
Today is the day to start.
