Can anyone tell me exactly what the difference is between the MEC 600 jr and the 600 Mark5 loaders?
are there any interchangable parts between them, such as primer feed, and gauge change kits?

Ron53,

I believe the Mark V has design improvements. I think it is adjustable to 3" shells, but the original JR wasn't (not sure). The Mark V charge bar has a stop on it so you must dump shot, it won't allow you to move hull to crimp with no shot charge. I don't think the JR had that. I think charge bars are improved so they don't hang up.

Parts lists and all the other good stuff for both available at:

cheers, Mike

Red sees it like I do. I use a 600 jr., and have for many years. Even though mine is an old model, Mec seels all necessary parts and update stuff for it. New or old, these are great pieces of equipment. Regards, Chuck
