Do any of you have a recipe for loading a 20 gauge 3/4 oz load that would duplicate the Fiocchi Low Recoil load? As I understand it, the load is 3/4 oz of shot at 1050 fps.

Thanks,

I'll have to check my records, but for my daughter, I've loaded what they call "20 ga Lite" loads. The powder charge is reduced ~10% and the same shotcup/wad is used, only with 1/8 oz less shot and a .50 cal blackpowder wad inserted in the cup to take up the space. Same primer, hull, etc., these load easily on my Lee Load-All II. They work well and my daughter loves 'em!

Buffalo Arms sells .50 cal wads (unlubed) at a really nice price if you buy in bulk -- MUCH cheaper than buying the lubed BP wads.
