non toxic shot in the states

just wondering how long have you guys over in the states have been using this non toxic shot.we have had it for a couple of years now down in new zealand.are most of you using steel or using bismuth or tungsten substitutes.probably %99 of use over here are using steel because the the other stuff is just two expensive.i'm going to move up to 3"magnums to try and get a bit more omph.any thoughts

Oh, geez, it's been well over 10 years! Most guys are using steel, for the same reason. Steel has gotten much better now that the bugs have been worked out. JMO, Dutch.

Yes , 3" is better.Make sure you pattern the loads and learn the effective ranges. With my 3" Benelli with MOD choke ,BB steel gives an Extra, Extra Full pattern .The range for goose is 25-45 yds.
