I picked one up this weekend. 16" threaded barrel, it is hollywood quite with subs. All for now.

I paid a little over five for it, There are some new ones out there yet. 10 years ago with a little work the 452's could be made to shoot with the best high end target rifles. Set the barrel back to a match chamber, a little glass bedding and and some trigger work. With a good lot of ammo they would shoot almost as well as my customs. Most of my 22 have walter super match progressive twist barrels and blueprinted actions, I just could not see cuting one back. My sw15-22 works well subsonic with the can on, but is a 1.5 to a 2 moa rifle. The cz should be accurate enough to shoot ragtails in the eye at 75 yards with subsonic ammo. I need a set of 30 mm rings.

It sounds like a stable gun with cci subs.

I got to the range. eley pratice,and cci sv shot very nice sub 1" groups with out to much effort. 6X scope and a lousey factory trigger. A little work and some bedding it would most likely shoot as well has my high end match rifles.

JD, I have the 16" barrel 452 and love it. I just started shooting matches at my club. I use a Harris bi-pod and use a rear rest, I shot a 399-26X this past weekend. We shoot at 100 yards, the 10 ring is 2" and the X ring is 1"


The rifle is Bone stock, I love shooting against those $2-5k rifles, some of their front rests cost more than my rifle, but I hold my own. It is a truly great rifle IMO.
