I have a box - 10 rds - of 8X57 ammo - loaded I believe in 1938. Don't have it to hand so can't give any more detail. My question: Do these things have any value? Regards,

I remember Numrich Arms selling those several years ago and fairly cheap. Couldn't hazerd a guess as to value though. derf

Trapper, No significant value. About $10. They used to be plentiful when I was a kid. They have a wooden bullet because the 8x57 round will not feed correctly without a bullet in the case, and you can't just drop a round in to a 98 because the extractor will not snap over the case rim like a springfield or enfields will.
