The media's hate for this guy is beyond the pale...

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

Clearly this guy is a slow learner when it comes to social media.

In the Mirror bit, they flat out say they are anti hunting and pushing the UK government to end it.

Pretty much proves these folks are not journalists.

Another universal theme of these type articles is to quote the worth of every item the hunter owns. A million dollar home, a 70,000 car, etc.

I'm often told when debating with an anti-hunter that I should just donate the money to conservation. When I ask what they have donated the "discussion" disappears.

I think he is taunting with the photos, but I say, go for it.

The entire Cecil the lion mess was a set up to some extent. He knew what he bought as did the safari outfit. Is it ethical? Not so sure, no more/less than someone shopping for a big whitetail at a high fence place like the Sanctuary or Oak Creek in Missouri. You know what you are getting when you go there and it is virtually guaranteed. This was similar.

Whether right or wrong - it was legal. As is his hunt in Mongolia or wherever he killed that big sheep.

I am tired of being on the defense all the time with my hobby. I just went thru a painful and combative rezoning mess here in Denver. If you are not "all in" and committed, the haters will win.

I would like to see NRA or DSC or SCI or whoever, go after the antis in the same way we are pursued. Sue them, blast them on social media, take no prisoners. This is a war and we are losing if we are not on the offensive.
