Dog ManGood Luck Greg.
I will be watching for your report.
We have friends in Istanbul and this
is a hunt I have been looking at, even though
you don't get the 12 hour Russian truck ride.

Greg BrownleeJust got out of the mountains. AWESOME hunt although the snow was incredibly deep in most areas, making the hunt reasonably difficult. Shot my ibex on day 5 at a pretty extreme downhill angle. I don't think it would be a stretch to say I saw over 500 Bezoar Ibex on this hunt, and probably closer to 700. I'll post a report and photos when I get home and settled in next week.

Greg BrownleeHome and working on getting caught up. Here's the photo of the ibex, report to follow later this week! Tough hunt, saw tons of Ibex and ended up shooting this ibex (115x118cm) on day 5. Nice ibex, not a giant by any means but I'm happy!

A 45" x 46" is a pretty dang nice ibex IMO!
They smell great, don't they?
Can't wait for the detailed report, I want to do this hunt in Turkey!
If you could include some sort of cost estimate for the hunt that would be mighty helpful!
Great photo and congrats!

Greg BrownleeThanks guys! Yes, he smelled bad but not as bad as some people have described it. I came long after the rut, so they're days of coating themselves in their own "brand" of urine perfume were a few months behind them.
I'm breaking the hunt report up because I want to be as detailed as possible but don't have time to finish it tonight, but a link to part one of the report (Arrival in Istanbul - Day 2 of the hunt) is below:
