It is with great sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our friend and partner, Atobeck Bekmurodi in Tajikistan, following a sudden heart attack and stroke. Atobeck ran the famous Hot Springs Camp in the Pamir Mountains and guided many of our sheep and ibex hunters. He was respected as a master of his craft, one of the best guides ever to work in Tajikistan, and one of the “founding fathers” of the Marco Polo sheep conservation program in that country. We worked with him for almost 30 years and enjoyed his warm friendship and professional manner. He will be sorely missed. #Huntcon
