Shipping from Azerbaijan
Anyone have to shop a tur home from Azerbaijan yet? I just got a quote for what they want to get it back here and I was startled to say the least!

Cocksuckers is one name I have for some of those outfitters

" Until the day breaks and the nights shadows flee away " Big ivory for my pillow and 2.5% of Neanderthal DNA flowing thru my veins.
When I'm ready to go, pack a bag of gunpowder up my ass and strike a fire to my pecker, until I squeal like a boar.

I"m into an alligator skull from Florida for about $1500. It's highway robbery wherever you go!

It's the same the world over, but Azerbaijan seems to have even less shame than other countries shipping similar items. $1500-$2,000 seems to be the going rate for shipping and cites exports.

I went 5 years ago and we just carried them back in our luggage and met with Fish and Wildlife when we came back to the US. Coppersmiths handled the logistics of that, total cost was $200 for two Tur.
I have no idea if anything has changed since then.

Tur are Cites listed now, so carrying them back is no longer an option.

You can get CITES permits pretty quickly in many countries!

took 2days for paperwork in Kyrgystan for my sheep and ibex. It is worth the extra time at those shipping rates you guys quoted!
