Jennette's lodge is pretty good in Engelhard, NC.

They have good leases, I have hunted with them couple of times. The owner is a bit quirky but they will get you the swans. After the swans are done then you can spend a day or two hunting puddle ducks on an impoundment or go hunt seaducks, it is your choice.

Some pics from the hunt..

I hunted swan's some years ago but I found the guides to be incompetent both in knowledge, calling and decoy placement. Fortunately, swans are easy to decoy. Be sure you follow through on your swing. They are large birds although not difficult to kill if you lead them. I'm sure there are some great guides on the coast, but I do not know any personally that I would recommend. I will ask some of my friends that live on the NC coast. They should know some.

@CamoManJ
Any 12 gauge will work fine (do not need 10 ga). I usually use a Benelli SBE with 3.5" loads Hevishot BB. You can use #4 shot 2 3/4" loads if you want if they are upclose and if you are capable of shooting precisely in the head or neck. Problem is that if you miss and hit their body then you have a wounded swan. So I try to body shoot them with 12 ga 3.5 inch BB at about 25 yards and they fold their wings right there.

I have reserved 3 boxes of 3.5" 12 ga BB Hevi-Shot that I purchased from AR member, Perry, just for Swans & Cranes. I also hunt w/ a trusty SBE II.
