Went out at about 2pm this afternoon and caught 20 black drum and two redfish. Picked up three more guys and went to the duck blind for our 12 redheads and whatever else flew in. We wern't shooting as good as we should have and only got 10 redheads in the last hour of the shooting day. All and all a pretty good day.  Don't ask me what happened, when I left Viet Nam, we were winning. | ||

I heard recently that about 85% of all the Redheads in North America winter here on the South Gulf Coast of Texas. What I particularly like about them is that they are pretty decoy stupid throughout the season and will come in to almost any spread. They are also a large duck that is pretty good to eat. Around here we question the two Redhead limit because they are so pleantiful but I understand it when they all seem to congragate here and are scarce otherwise. Don't ask me what happened, when I left Viet Nam, we were winning. | |||
