Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

brad mayWhen I bushhog my yard, most times the egret's will follow me to get at the insects that they can now see.
One time I saw one grab a mouse by the tail, throw it up in the air and catch it and swallow it head first.
I've seen lots of regular barn yard chickens eat mice. And I saw a mallard drake eat a frog once. I've shot a lot of early season pheasants and grouse that had grasshoppers in their crops.
So I'm guessing it isn't too uncommon.
