Reelfoot has a number of longtime established blinds and guides. Best bet is to contact the TN Game&Fish (TWRA) in Nashville and ask them for a list of licensed waterfowl guides on Reelfoot. It can be great or really bad. 12 refuges now surround the lake so if your there at the wrong time, you get to watch an air show at 2500 feet as the birds trade back and forth avoiding the lake. Good news is they are more reasonable on rates than many places you pay to hunt. I would say daily rates are $125-$165 per day depending upon amenities. These blinds are private and even our once Governor had his new blind burned down 2 times before he got the message and left. The note said build it again and we'll use dynamite with you in it. A little investigation and you should find who produces consistently. Go later in the season when the weather hopefully is cold. We hunted ReelFoot a few years back. Be prepared to sacrafice the first few ducks to the eagles! Once they get their bellies full, they'll leave you alone.
