Texas has opened things up somewhat on bearded hens. In Archer and Young counties, bearded hens are legal game during the Spring Season. If a person decides to shoot one or not shoot one, that is their business. Even the rocks don't last forever. | |||

Our regs read: Spring season: 4 "Bearded Birds" Hens with beards are legal here. Never seen one but friends have taken them on rare occasion. I'd mount that one Allen. Good hunting!
