I’ll be on the Ohio River between KY and Indiana.

I hope we get some teal and wood duck in the bag bc I am jonesing for some duck jambalaya.

Our early teal season starts next Sunday.

No wood ducks allowed to be shot here…

Personally, I feel it’s a crime to turn wood ducks and teal into gumbo or jambalaya. They are too good just roasted or grilled to add all kinds of other stuff to!

I’ll be on the Indiana side of the Ohio river in my new mo marsh layout boat and Benelli cordoba best. The shells will be Handload No 7 1 5/8 TSS. Going to be protecting the KY border from air incursions from geese, wood ducks in back channel creeks, and teal.

When we are done, Israel will want to higher U.S. to shoot down drones.

You have never had my jambalaya. One can only eat something the same way so many times.

We are 24 hours and 4 minutes away! The hunting season is finally here!

Well, it didn’t go so well for me.

We had several hundred teal around last week where I hunt.

Then on Thursday a big storm.

Very few teal to be found this Sunday/monday.

I thought I did well to get only 2.

Hope you others had better luck.

But as they say, the worst hunting is better than work…

Opening day, I killed five Canada geese on the Ohio River.

Some of my best or most consistent shooting, long passing shot. Everything I pointed T came down and is in the brine.

We killed 8 today w 6 bands. I got my first two bands.

I thought we just had 5, but we had one more.
