A guy like Paxton EARNED his acquittal. Now he's earned some level of immunity at least politically.

It takes years of hard work and cash to reach that level of corruption, and so many like-minded friends or at least many who do it for self-preservation.

When surrounded with that level of corruption, THEN and only then is it easy, but with the caveat one must fit in the team and offer the team something likewise.

The good-ole-boy network.

So, don't tell me that politicians don't work hard and have goals, especially in Texas. There's a lot of money at stake.
