That is not gathering ballots from people without transportation, that is voting other people's ballots. Fraud.

I don't care how a ballot gets to an election office, carrier pigeon, drone, mailed, hand carried, dispatched with a smart dog, gathered by a church lady. If it is a valid vote from a registered voter, submitted of their own free will, count it.

If it was filled out and signed by somebody else, particularly when the putative voter doesn't speak or read English, there should be jail time involved.
