I like a couple of her songs
Wildest Dreams comes to mind, but overall not my taste.

She has been denigrated at every level of her career.

She is intelligent and more articulate than the GOP ticket.

She has the audacity to obtain her own wealth and control of her career, and date.

The Right attack her for engaging in our political system.

I know some want to make us more like religious controlled states where women are legally barred from engaging in politics due to civil enforcement of a conservative religious reading.

However, we are not. We should never be.

Congratulations on Taylor Swift being engaged in our system.

Taylor Swift knows the 2020 election was not rigged not gimmicked. Taylor Swift knows Trump has no claim of being denied the White House in 2020.

Taylor Swift knows Dobbs is bad policy.

Taylor Swift is better informed than most of the Right here.

And she makes massive donations to food banks everywhere she performs, often in the "one year of operation" range.

While Trump stiffs cities and towns across the Country for the expenses they incur when he does a Klan rally there, several to the point they won't have him back.

I only know 1 Swift song, her stuff is not my style. That doesn't mean I'm too stupid to see how popular she is with hundreds of millions of her fans. I don't care for opera, either, or Reggae much, but do not deny the big followings of a Pavaratti or Bob Marley

Of course, MAGAts idea of a significant celebrity is Ted Nugent, who bragged about dodging the draft by shitting himself before his induction interview and sings about having sex with under-age girls.

Or Kid Rock, who sings in one of his songs "Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage see, Some say that’s statutory (But I say it’s mandatory)".

I may not like much of her music, like other people say not my cup of tea but I do very much respect her for her intelligence and business savvy to build a billion-dollar business around her name.

The latest numbers are her call to followers to register to vote is over 500K and growing. Anyone who thinks half a million votes don't count is a fool.

Her semi profane attack on Swift does not make her correct.

She needed a new gimmick to make money. That is what happened.

I am happy that Swift has entered political discourse; just as others can be happy to have Kelly using political debate to make money.

When you hold your newborn in your arms and then nurture it into a small human your perspective on a lot changes. When you carry it in your belly, go through the agony of birth, feed it from your body, hold it in your arms, and nurture into a young human your perspective on much damn sure changes.

That…is what I am saying.

I can understand women who favor nurturing and child birth. That’s their choice. I cannot understand a woman that feels that every other woman should be forced to accept her choice. I am blessed that the women in my life, while they might be pro-life, they are not so narrow minded to believe that it is appropriate for them to make the healthcare decisions for other women.

I don’t disagree with your rationale for abortions.

All of the reasons you gave are reasonable reasons to have one.

If that was even a significant minority (as in 1/3 or so) of the abortions being performed then there would undoubtedly be a whole lot less angst and fighting about them.

The vast majority of elective abortions are performed for convienience. They are in effect birth control.

I don’t like having to restrict the procedure, but when folks make arguments for 3rd trimester abortion being legal, that’s generally not about medical care.

Both sides are playing the simplify it for their preferred argument method of debate.

We already are way more restrictive on other issues than abortion, so the whole liberty argument is a bit of a canard.

As I said, there are medical reasons where it is a good idea to proceed.

You seem to miss that the left pushing abortion on demand regardless of reason is part of why there is a backlash.

I don’t know too many physicians who don’t believe that abortion should be the last resort.
How we get there is where we have major disagreement politically.

Under prior precedent a state could ban late term abortion if they wanted to. State also did that.

I would take abortion la that are not medically necessary in exchange for what we have now.

Beyond that I also understand we cannot write legislation to actually administer the exception Ms. I also understand the legal principles that privacy is a recognized right that triggers other Fed protections. I also understand Justice Alito misled the Senate.

Who is making arguments for third trimester abortions, unless the life of the mother is at stake? That's not in the Democrat party platform.

I've heard Dems say they want the protections of Roe reinstated, but haven't heard any of them say that third-trimester for-convenience abortions should be legal.

Do you have something to support your statement, or did you just make it up?

Songs about the wrong person, break-ups, heartbreak are iconic in the whole music industry: country, blues, rock, and other genres.

Have a wonderful experience in Denali. It should be awesome this time of year, the tundra red and gold, the willows and birch trees in their full fall colors. Animals should be on the move. If you don't get snow, that is, which is a real possibility at Polychrome Pass this time of year.

Where are you starting from? By far, the best approach to the Park is going west on the Denali Highway.

Plan to do any hunting while in AK?

So everyone over the last 25 years who did business w Combs is a sex trafficker?

What Twitter source are you using to postulate Swift is engaged in Human Traffic w Combs?

I guess all the women who were assaulted by a movie or music exce they worked for are criminally liable?

You are a base person.

I expect Combs to be convicted, but unlike Trump, Combs is still innocence and the presumption must be rebutted beyond a reasonable doubt.

Ever hear the saying "attempting to walk in the footsteps of Jesus?"

I believe the premise is that that while we all are sinners and full of fault, a good Christian attempts to live a life as free of sin as they can.
