Huh, a few of us said this would happen. The leader of the Texas contingent told us it would not. Too bad we all are not slum lords.

Since Covid, price of housing tripled in Rocky Mountain region
That was before tariffs
What was that reason if I may ask?
Trump knows what he is doing in comparison with majority of politician who are just doing nothing so they get elected again and again and again and know absolutely zero about running business or for that matter government as well

Trump certainly doesn't know what the hell he is doing, he is making a mess of the economy and government. Look at the cost to service our debt since dumb ass screwed up the bond market. Inflation is already here and stagflation looks to be right around the corner.

But you are a cult member so you don't see it.

Yet used home prices are down from the jobama highs. Even in Austin

Remember in 2 week lock downs, building materials soared in price for years, to the point the the entire internet was laughing about it...

Oh, wait, a sense of humor and a long term, unbiased memory? What am I thinking

Good dog!

Do you think the sky high interest rates might be impacting the price of home sales? Any clue why those rates are STILL high? Couldn't be Daddy's shitty economic policies.

Yeah, look at the bright side of the failing economy, just be a dedicated cult member and bury your head in the sand.

Housing costs are high because there are 400 million people where there used to be 300 million. New houses had to be built. In the interim, along with the increasing population, we had the increasing money supply, with the resultant devaluation of the dollar relative to the cost of goods and services. Will the tariffs affect the cost of building? Of course they will. When you tax the hell out of materials, the price is likely to go up. Mind you, this is from the point of view of an uneducated old guy, so there could be some sort of MAGA magic in play that I wouldn't understand. Regards, Bill

Odd, they cut them last year without roughly the same numbers. <2.4% inflation, great april jobs report [which Powell is actually concerned about being too high... you can read it yourself), .. Bidens BEST month since June of 21 was 2.4%, which Powell said "close enough, we can lower th rate"

Not that odd at all, the difference has been all over the news and will be seen shortly as the most recent inflationary data is received, Trump's tariffs.

But you knew that, more importantly, so does Powell.
