Since this has never happened before I am not sure anyone knows for sure. There are 2 states where the candidate must be given to the states AG 4 days prior to the convention beginning. The law is the law even if Biden was still running. One of them is Ohio which was already moving red and with Vance being from OH should carry that state. I believe the other is AZ which is very much in play.


Harris might not be the choice no matter what Biden said in his letter and will say in the w coming days. She has a lot of negatives.

She also has a couple of positives in that she is not yet 60 years old and she will attract a lot of the female vote.


One thing I will be looking at on election night is why the winning percentage is in the hard red states compared to the last several elections. I am betting they numbers are lower.



I have no idea ho she will affect the down ballot races which are arguable as ir even more important to the democrats than the WH.

No matter the result, it’s going to be an interesting 107 days.
