I don’t disagree with the general premise of the OP. Much of the rioting and burning has been undertaken by people seen as “left”, and equally blowing stuff up and shooting up a church or synagogue full of people is undertaken by the “ right”.

Two points with the OP’s post - the left do condemn violence ( and yes I’m aware that D blocked a resolution condemning the violence) - Hakim Jeffries ( probably spelled his name wrong) condemned the Tesla burnings and violence.

People were arrested, prosecuted and given jail time for arson and rioting during the BLM riots, there was press reporting to that effect at the time with some getting circa 5 years.

Phil, planned or not, this was a violent attack on the US Capitol with Congress in session. This was an assault on every Congressman there. The attackers intent at a bare minimum was to change the outcome of a Constitutional election. At worst murdering Congress? You tell me.

This attack was akin to an attack on the Whitehouse, Lincoln Memorial, Mount Rushmore, The Statue of Liberty. An attack on the Whitehouse, ( yes regardless who is in office, ) should be violently, savagely repulsed with no regard to collateral damage, rules of engagement, human rights or any of the rest of that baloney.

I stick to that, you're free to deconstruct all the BLM, ICE and whatnot surprise-parties, the violent rhetorics of countless Dem leaders, and the continuous barrage of blatant lies spewed by leftist talking heads right in front of our lying eyes ("Peaceful protests" anyone?).

In a post on Truth Social, the president described the kits as critical to determining who was a dedicated foot soldier of the MAGA movement and who was a traitor to their country.

“America can ONLY be great again when EVERYONE is loyal to me,” wrote Trump, who went on to blame the previous administration for failing to identify and isolate several virulent strains of anti-Trump sentiment. “Unlike CROOKED JOE BIDEN, the American people LOVE their favorite president of all time!
