I wasn’t comparing the content of the tapes, I was comparing the how both sides pushed the information in an attempt to smear the other side.

Both sides do it and the idiots on both sides rationalize that their actions are justified.

And the other side never has any trouble rationalizing why the action are unjust.

You can console yourself by splitting hairs about whether this was while in office, or before, or about whether it was directly said/done by the political or by his offspring/close advisor, but the real test is simple:

I believe you, and that is why I enjoy conversing with you and some others like ME. Although I disagree with you quite often, I know that you have integrity.

But on this one I will again disagree: regardless of how it was obtained, I do believe that in information should be available to the public. And, while you may not hold it against the candidate (trump or Biden) many would, myself included.

I’m not the only person to think that way, or the laptop would not have been discredited as a “Russian plant” ahead of the election.

I will again point out to you that Trumps “pussy grabber” comments were not part of a “known recorded interview for public disclosure”. Billy Bush has stated that they were taken from a hot mike while they bullshitted after the interview.

I point this out to show that it doesn’t really matter how something was obtained, what it reveals about the person is what matters. The laptop wasn’t any more “stolen” than Trump’s words. Both show Hunter and Trump for the reprehensible people they really are.
