I have an AFO ankle foot orthotic for foot drop. Have not worn it for over a year. In my case foot drop is likely due to nerve damage from being pre-diabetic. Right now it involves the right foot and no hope of reversal. Supposedly there is a treatment involving re-attaching tendons and or ligaments, but right now that's the least of my issues.

Makes you wonder if he has any rolls of summer sausage strapped to his leg.
