Then have at it.

Just out of curiosity, what "high crime or misdemeanor" will you be citing as grounds?

"High crimes" (felonies) and misdemeanors are defined by statute(s).

Drop the rhetoric and tell us what statutes Biden violated.

Unfortunately, for the dimwits like Jim, impeachment requires a crime. And wishing there was one doesn't qualify.

Impeachment is political.

The rationale for impeaching Biden could be said to be his failure to uphold his office to protect the nation.

I don’t think that would get past the senate trial, but as it’s political and the GOP does hold a slim majority in the house, it could be done.

It shouldn’t.

For crying out loud, we have an election coming up quicker than the government could possibly try him.

IMO, I hope we vote him out.

I see it as less likely if his challenger is Trump.

Well let’s see, the republicans control the house and what legislation have they introduced to “secure the border” lately? Maybe we need to investigate them too! hilbily

Impeaching Biden would certainly be nothing but political since he has committed no high crimes or misdemeanors. And, I understand and agree that impeachable offenses aren't limited to violations of criminal statutes.

But impeaching a president because you don't agree with his immigration policies is ridiculous. That opens the door for a political impeachment for every single POTUS for anything the opposition disagrees with politically. Not sustainable if we want a functioning executive branch.

There is evidence to suggest a crime. One for example is bribery. Another is the selling of classified data. Both have statutes against them. “Maybe” willful disregard to controlling our southern border carries a statute…I am not sure.

The proceedings at hand are an inquiry. Inquiries are ‘investigative’ in nature. And as Jonathon Turley has laid out numerous times…”there is more than ample evidence to open an inquiry.”

Like always the Democrats opened this can of worms. Now the Republicans are forced to fight fire with fire.

More evidence to back my suggestion the USA irreparably divided.

Yeah, divided between those who seek to defend and follow the Constitution and a cult that would completely abandon it for their hydrocephalic leader.

Where is your evidence for bribery and selling classified data? Why hasn’t he been charged if there is evidence? BTW- “He hurts my feelings” is not evidence. Pull your head out of your ass.

You mean like when Biden faced four indictments with a total of 91 charges? Oh no, that’s your dipshit messiah.

Agreed it is unlikely to pass the Senate…regardless of what is presented.

LDO as usual middlefinger

Last time I checked an inquiry came before charges…at least when Republicans are in charge.

If you want to see what evidence is available…learn to read if you can muster the brain power…I know a tall order.

Here is the problem and against shows De. Easter’s hypocrisy. He specifically refused to observe any of Congress’ evidence concerning President Trump and Jan 6.

FFS, you have biden, in his own words, in several videos, bragging about delaying payments (uhm, yeah, that's in trump's first impeachment) to ukraine unless they fire a dude - and hiding classified documents in his garage and in his corvette, the same corvette hunter is seen driving -

use the SAME measurements on trump and biden - and both are equally politically exploitable - and impeachment of both is/was stupid, and therefore a political stunt - a total waste of time and resources

Do you understand "false equivalence"?

Biden used $1 billion in foreign aid to press for the firing of a corrupt prosecutor in Ukraine in coordination with our European allies and the International Monetary Fund, where Trump with-held Congressionally authorized military aid in search of political help for a domestic campaign.

Biden's attorneys discovered marked documents, immediately notified the Archives and relinquished them the same day, whereas Trump intentionally removed hundreds of documents and when asked for them lied about having them, attempted to hide them and finally, after a year, got served with a search warrant that discovered what he had repeatedly said he didn't have.

There is a difference.
