I just don’t believe that is the case.

Well, you do live in a fantasy world......

Actually…I live more in the real world than most here.

I operate multi businesses. I employ a lot of people. I built all of my businesses from the ground up without a pot to piss in upon graduating from college — with a large debt which I managed to pay off expediently by working my ass off.

All of the above while becoming a board-certified equine orthopedic surgeon and rising to the top of my professional field.

You my friend live in the fantasy world. My life is operated on facts dictated by science and economics.

I'm sure that will matter to a young lady who is being abused by a family member and unable to access contraception.

Self important much?

My diagnosis is that the good Doctor has no sense of reality.

Moral decency......right, and I'm the Pope.

You and reality don’t belong in the same statement.

I on the other hand…sit on a school board as well as other boards and am very active in my community as well as local, state, and national politics in my neck of the woods.

My community locally, politically, and professionally knows me and I them. We all work well together.

You know what is best for everybody.

Sounds about right.

Self-important as they come.

It is rare to meet someone with such a high opinion of themselves as you have Lane, humble you are not. Well, there is Trump.....

Sounds to me like a very succesful, responsible, civic minded person paying back society for the opportunity he relieved and took advantage of...

While other little yappy dogs try nipping at his heels.....

Yappy dogs will always be yappy dogs.

Well, skb, you are about as humble as Dr. E, so I don’t see your issue…

How about some sanity and moral decency.

You shouldn't use words you don't understand, like "sanity" and "moral decency." You can make a joke of yourself like that.

If you claim to value sanity and moral decency, why do support Trump? End of story. There so much hypocrisy and bull-headed stupidity in the answer to that question.

I don't think you're natively stupid--I think you're being driven to stupidity by fear. You're afraid of one thing essentially: change. You've made it clear you want to turn the clock back to the '50s and '60s, before the civil rights era. A great time to be alive for white people, especially white bigots. (No black presidents). No so good for anyone else.

I know I am not stupid and I get up every day and prove it.

Give me any circumstance in life and I will make a viable business plan and have success in it.

You want to use Trump as an example of stupidity? I chuckle inside about that.

The fact is that it takes an absolute mental midget to want the policy put in place for our country by Biden over that of Trump’s policy…just because you don’t like Trump’s personality. Hell, I don’t like Trump’s personality either. But, I don’t cut my nose off to spite my face.

Yessir…I think “sanity and moral decency” are exactly the correct words…albeit they are becoming extinct. I understand them quite well.

Funny thing about your comments about nobody besides white people thinking times in our past were better is they are false.

I got to eat lunch and listen to Stephen Pride (Charley Pride’s younger brother) yesterday and then visit with him while he ate his lunch. He was playing at a winery down the highway from my Gainesville, TX place.

We hit it off in conversation and got into the modern country and western music business which digressed into national politics. A black man a few years older than myself who made his own way in “those bad old times”…shared pretty similar political views as I. Hmm, how could that be? 2020

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

And do you honesty believe honesty and decency are found in the ultra right wing freaks??

Or the ultra left wing freaks??

Honesty and decency comes with responsibility and tolerance.

Neither of these traits are found in the extremists!

It does not seem that such is being taught anymore. Rewards go to extremists. Pretty sad.
