Because she has a brain!!!

Biden or Trump will win!

Trump is VASTLY the better option. She knows it!

Nikki is doing exactly what I espouse. You go to war with the army you have NOT the army you wish you had.

or less?

A) I did not know Harris had said that. I do not pay attention to her.

B) I do not excuse bad behavior w bad behavior. I expect more from the Right and Haley. Your implication is how we hit Jan 6 by the Right.

Sort of breaking the law, I really do not care what the left does. I always expected such behavior from the Left. I demand more from the Right. In part, because the Right preached bring better. Until, the Right was faced with a rejection of the MAGA, Christian Nationalist Platform.

The problem is not President Trump. The problem is the folks who say, President Trump is good for the country he has just become too much of a target to be the spokesperson/seller.

Now she says she will vote to inflict that disaster on our country.

The hell with her. Just another slimy politician.

I think he has and because he's more than 6 years old he understands that other people's bad behavior doesn't justify or legitimize our bad behavior.

How in the world do we end up here?!?!
"The BLM riots justify January 6th!"
"Kamala was mean and then nice to Joe so it's ok for Niki to be mean and then nice to Donny!"

Heym is spot on. Who cares what the Dems do and say? They don't represent me, I ain't voting for them, they ain't getting my money, I'm not displaying their bumper stickers or lawn signs. That I know I voted Dem one single time and that was for Peltola over Palin. Even a meathead like me could see how to get that right.

If your compass is so shaky that you predicate our own behavior on what others are doing we got big troubles.

I do remember VP Harris on the primary campaign trial calling “Med-West Values” as racist. This was an attack on Pete Buttigieg who was positioning himself as the Dem candidate of those values.

I decried that characterization in the time.

I'm not finding anything that indicates Harris said any of this. What's your source? Not saying your wrong, just don't find anything to support the assertion.

To the contrary, in relation to the statement that she said Biden was a racist, I find this from the debates:

>>>>These claims are false. During the debate, Harris condemned Biden for working with segregationists in the Senate and for opposing aspects of mandatory busing for school desegregation. However, she began her critique by telling Biden “I do not believe you are a racist.”

And, here is the quid pro quo....trump says Haley will be a part of his administration. If he was smart, she would be his VP choice. Pretty sure that is where this is headed. If trump has brain cells and Haley is willing to stomach him for a chance at the presidency in 2028.

While Trump is a foul, corrupt, lying piece of garbage, Joe is truly on his last legs. Click the links in Nellie's column.
Folks can beat up on Nikki, but she is a conservative and vaguely sensible Republican. Did someone really expect her to come out for doddering Joe, who can't read a teleprompter and has forgiven $167 billion in student loans for the elite?
I am no fan of Joe -- or Kamala! -- but I won't vote for a damned lying megalomaniac billionaire son of a bitch who only cares about himself and will say anything anywhere if he thinks it helps his cause. He has no values and no moral compass other than to thine own orange-haired fucking self be true. He cares far, far more about Donald than he does about America, or history, or consequences, or accountability.
What a Hobson's choice!
I may have to back RFK Jr.

But, I'd rather have the old guy that would never engage in sedition or insurrection and who accepts the result of an election versus the philandering, lying sack of shit seditionist who will never accept the result of an election unless he wins.

He screws pornstars while is wife is pregnant with their son and then bribes the pornstar to keep quiet. How on earth does anybody support this asshole?

Easy choice for me. For others, YMMV.

Well, whatever she may have said about President Biden. She expressly says he is not a racist fitting a debate. I find nothing objectionable about this statement from them candidate Harris.

Vice President Biden, I do not believe you are a racist, and I agree with you, when you commit yourself to the importance of finding common ground," Harris said. "But I also believe -- and it's personal -- it was actually hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country."

That is a fair statement.

Here is the Midwest Values Quote. I cannot disagree more. I reject this as nothing more than racial pandering that is harmful.

“Too often their definition of the Midwest leaves people out,” Harris said of the electability conversation. “It leaves out people in this room, who helped build cities like Detroit."

At what point are the prerequisites to much to bear? Can the ass be to unpleasant to kiss?

For this particular job we're discussing, if the candidate will do anything, say anything, kiss all asses no matter how unpleasant in order to get hired I might guess their the wrong candidate for the job.

From your posts Joshua, I assume you consider yourself pro-choice (I was too when I was younger). Are you telling me now that the Baptist Church is pro-choice? I read your earlier post about the SBC. While they may have had no written public position on it prior to the 1980s…I don’t believe that to be read as condoning it.

I dm remained of the closing to the trial in the film A Msn for All Seasons:

Moore, “ What profit a man to gain the works but lose his soul, but for Wales.”

After Fox gave false testimony in the film against Moore and upon Moore seeing the chain of office about Fox’s neck.

She stated after she dropped out President Trump would have to earn her support.

But for a Cabinet position.

You only get politicians with integrity if you hold them to account.

If you can't be bothered or choose to look past it because "the other guy did it too, its just an off the cuff remark, everyone has affairs etc" then they have no motive to behave in a more responsible manner.
