I watched the video linked by JTEX. As expected, it's a gross lie through and through.

It's mostly a voice dubb-over, not even close to actual quotes.

I've watched several posts such as those from the Lincoln Project. There is a distinct difference. Of course JTEX would choose to post lies.

And you sir are a hypocrite too.

Yes, because no o e is the nominee until the delegates vote.

Since, Presidential Biden withdrew he holds no pledged delegates.

Technically, they could still vote for him, but since he has said he is not a candidate there is no point.

I’ll just look it up. DNC is August 19-22. Why it is such later than the RNX, I do not know.

LHeym500

I will try to give an honest answer to your question about the timing of the democratic convention.

1. They thought it didn’t matter because Joe was going to be their candidate so the convention was just going to be a rah rah, energize the base event. Unfortunately this plan was undone with the debate and a few public appearances which made it clear he was not well or cognizant enough to campaign and then execute the office for another 4 years.

2. I don’t think they looked at so e of the rules for the individual states with regards to when they democrats must certify their candidates to the AG’s of the individual states. I know Ohio and another state (I think it’s AZ) require that certification 4 days before the DNC convention begins. Was that a tactical mistake or just hubris? I’m not sure we will ever know. This certification requirement is why they are still looking at a virtual convention and. I’m I Ayoob process so as to bear the deadlines in two critical swing states.

I do think Joe will get some votes mainly out if sympathy, but that he will thank them and publicly (my bet is he appears virtually)behind Harris.

If I were the DNC chair I would have run Mayor Pete and either the governor of PA a swing state or KY. All of them are relatively young and have political staying power.

No name calling. Smiler.

You talk nonsense. The DNC chair doesn't pick the candidate; the various state delegates do. If they want to pick another candidate than Harris, they are free to do so.

You're an odd duck. First you complain about the Democrats being undemocratic in how they plan to select their candidate, then you propose an autocratic process decided by one person. Would that be better than being elected by the delegates, you think?

I guess your preference for an autocrat like Trump is clear.

My apologies for not being more clear. When I said run mayor Pete I should have said “put forward as a proposed ticket for the delegates to decide. Thank you for pointing out where I was unclear.

I've never called Trump a Nazi, although he is a dangerous sociopath. I have no side other than the anti-Trump side. I'm not a Democrat, and don't usually vote that way.

I vowed to never vote for Trump when he ran a racist campaign to demand Obama's birth certificate-- a demand no candidate before or since has had to deal with.

If you want to support a racist sociopath, that's your business. I'd rather vote for a dead skunk.

I think their best line of attack is that a relationship with a man who had been separated from his wife for 13 years, that took place 30 years ago and ended 8 years before she sought elective office makes her morally inferior to a guy who publicly cheated on his first wife with his second (remember him having Ivana and Marla Maples at the same ski resort at the same time?), cheated on his porn model third wife with both a Playboy model and a porn star and was convicted of 34 felonies related to his attempt to keep the affair with the porn star from voters in the 2016 election.

And hung out with Jeffrey Epstein, a lot.

Is supporting someone with such an obvious immediate need to lay claim to color, race and gender cards for privilege of gaining money, support and tactical leverage over another not something that goes against our democracy. What about all the demands, fighting, growth and change we have all been through to get to a point where we look at people for who they are instead of color, race and gender.
Were we not teaching our daughters that they can do anything a man can do, anymore? That at no time should anyone put race, color and gender in front of us all being human?
At least the nation is clearly seeing what this has all meant now. Does this mean that all women have achieved their privilege positions with some use of a gender privilege card for advantage? If not stop using it.
And this, "hanging a DEI label on her", really how left to state that. To need to. Shame.
It is Harris herself, her government, black/Asians and women that did that. And they are proving it by openly acknowledging their support for her based on those privilege cards.
The card on the ballot looks like its down to 2 options, Trump or a Jamaican/Asian /woman of colour.
Unless they can prove its about anything but, and up till now they have chosen not to do tha
