Obama and Biden both refused to use Executive Orders to attempt to void a right conferred through the 14th Amendment.

President Obama refused his parties calls to prevent Trump from taking power after the 20216 election. President Obama was adamant a peaceful transition of power would occur. Then VP Biden hammered down every inappropriate objection.
