The US electorate is roughly divided into thirds. One third red, one third blue, and then the third in the middle, who might vote for either. Presidential elections are usually decided by how the middle third splits. If the Dems piss off or alienate more of the middle third than Reps do, the Reps win. And vice versa. Right now it looks like both parties are alienating the middle. The Reps with their abortion bans, support for Trump, and efforts to make government more Christian, and the Dems with their woke nonsense and reparations and anti-gun legislation. In pandering to their bases (who are going to vote for them regardless), both sides risk the election.

Sort of, but it's never been this nuts. https://www.foxnews.com/politi...mp-2024-legal-issues I don't in anyway, shape or form think I'm in the middle, and point by point believe I can defend my conservatism, but this is nuts. Jordan isn't a Conservative Firebrand, he's nuts. This right wing conservative can't support nuts.

The problem you have ( and so do we ) are the morons who are the thirds at either end of the spectrum. They vote for their party regardless of what their policies are, either they can’t be bothered to look, to stupid to understand … I don’t know. But it means their parties can do whatever they want, no matter how stupid, and the idiots will still vote for them no matter what. The politicians are never healed to account for their lies, idiocy, broken promises, corruption, sleaze …

The middle voters are the one that swing the pendulum Problem with multiple parties is that they in the end make a deal no matter what majority voters may want so it serves their climb to ultimate powers And I do believe the only idiots among the voters are the ones that point out that voters who vote different then others are idiots and can’t think for themselves

Unfortunately, the middle cannot swing an election by itself. Thus the two major parties have a lock on it. One of them will always win. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

There is nothing there made up. It is the stated positions of those here. Everything in that list is the truth I may be younger than you. You are a lier as lost as the left versions of you, you claim to hate. You are the same with a different accent. Beautiful, you might have to walk beside a gay person any day.

You could redistribute the wealth equally to every person in this country and it wouldn't take ten years before all the money was right back where it started. Simple fact.
