This site was on a news list this morning and even the sidelines are horrid. That said, I don't see how this man even has a valid argument or how any legal entity could agree with him.

And this one in Britain.

quote:
A new report shows that crisis centers for women are themselves in crisis.

Sex Matters is a human rights advocacy group in the UK. They found that single-sex crisis centers are being intimidated to include trans-identified men for political ideology. Is there a harm to that? According to the report, there is. They found that victims of sexual abuse feel unsafe in places that include men and often self-exclude themselves from places that were designed to help them.

The people who run these services report to feeling silenced and intimidated if they advocate for single-sex spaces. They also found that even people who advocate for transgender people do not believe that trans people should be in spaces for women only but political ideology has taken over. Service providers report being intimidated and that their training is controlled by lobbyists.

This despite the fact that the British public overwhelmingly supports single-sex spaces for survivors by 84%.

That’s what happens when leftists put their one size fits all mandates in place.

Why not obviate all this and go to universal rest rooms and changing/shower/locker rooms?

Because making single person spaces is hugely more expensive.

If you allow physiological males to be in intimate contact with physiological females, you have increased sexual activity. It may be that it’s being abused, but it’s something that you can avoid if you use biology instead of pseudoscience.

Sheesh. My shop is tiny, has one bathroom with a lock on the door. Saves a lot of trouble...

You yourself admit they are a minuscule group.

How much money/effort is reasonable?

How much risk to decrease “distress” is reasonable.

Note that transgender is considered less than 1% of the population (per the site I saw that came up first on google) but incidence of gender dysphoria in the sex offender community is almost 20%.

The "lefties" are responsible for this guy being a creep? He's not trans, he just wants to check out naked women. They should kick him out of the Spanish army and send him on his way. And, that assumes any of this is even factually correct.

Waste of time.

No, but the left is putting laws up that make him able to claim he “has a right to…”

The problem becomes it’s easy for sex offenders to claim they are LBTGQ and justify getting access.

That's called the First Amendment in the US.

no it ain't.
the first only allows him to run his flap, it doesn't guarantee him access to anything.

or does jan 6th fall under the first amendment too?

maybe read the constitution.
