Totally agree with Saeed here. I grew up on the Rio and we went to Mexico all the time. I'd never go there now. But I remember 40 years ago, to take a shotgun into Mexico, you had to have a "general's letter", which the regulations said was free. But the guys who regularly went down there told me I should paperclip a $20 bill to the application or it would never get processed. Even at my young age, it occurred to me if they were extorting me to get into the country, what is it going to cost me to get back? And what if some Mexican cop likes my shotgun? I didn't go. And I damn sure would not got to Mexico today. | |||
