In the article linked by Magine, the author recommended that Kamala should advise getting Trump's statements fact checked by sources that "even Trump followers would trust". Again, this is plainly one who just doesn't understand; Trump followers don't trust any source which says anything negative about their leader. In fact, they don't just require that a source say nothing bad, they want the source to say something good. Always. I am interested in the debate. I think, in these two, we have the two most ignorant candidates who have ever shared a stage. There is the possibility of some real comic relief. I think Kamala will win by ridiculing Trump every time he tells a lie. Trump will win by surprising everyone and making reasoned arguments in favour of his policies and sticking to the truth.  Your post is self-contradictory. What fact-checker source would that be - Fox? Imagine that if you can. I can't. I can't imagine Trump making truthful, reasoned arguments either. Trump followers won't "trust" anyone or anything that isn't affirmation of their alt-reality. Kamala's success or not will depend on one thing - her skill at making Trump look small, petty, uncouth, buffoonish, without reciprocating like-kind insults. She gets bonus points for making him look fascist, misogynist, narcissistic, oligarchic, etc. If she can do it to Trump, she can out-intellect anyone. Trump already looks that way to most Americans, even including many who support him. She might also for good measure throw in a few policy statements. She says she "knows his type". My post is not self-contradictory. My post is pointing out a reality. THERE ARE NO FACT CHECKERS TRUMPS BASE WOULD TRUST. By simply contradicting one of Trump's statements ANY pundit is automatically disqualified. If Tucker Carlson acknowledges that Trump said it was daytime when it was plainly night, Carlson would be branded a swamp-dwelling traitor. I can't make it any more clear. I don't think Trump would be able to change his approach and stick to reasoned policy arguments either. He will attempt to get under Kamala's skin.
