In this, he’s worse than Biden. He competently makes very poor decisions. Then so many folks competently ignore his errors because they disagree with other side on policy. I do get where Dr. E comes from in his statements re voting for Trump, but I think as a conservative we should hold ourselves to a higher standard. Losing an election over a lack of willingness to get in the mud with a pig is hardly the end of the republic. It may make our lives worse short term, but I have faith that the system will work it out. I would rather we lose (as a conservative) than re elect a man who plays so loose with facts and has no gravitas. He’s an embarrassment to me for my having supported him. Biden is one thing: the better of two choices. trump poses an existential danger to the republic. If folks can't see that after what happened last go-round, they ain't paying attention. From the perspective of someone on the outside looking in both Trump and Biden are poor choices, and the inability of the electorate to realise/see this is pretty worrying.
