Well, she is blaming trump for June job slump, saying it's still his effects controlling the economy and directly causing the nearly 4 years later June jobs slump... while skirting the facts that all job numbers for over a year have been revised down in a quiet press release

https://www.foxnews.com/politi...after-he-left-office

But she is going for the hat trick and also blaming project2025...

I guess if trump is actually mentally powerful enough to affect the economy years after being out of office, it would be consistent, I didn't say logical, that he COULD mentally declassify documents

What a strange world

Four years out, debatable. It does take about two years for tax and regulatory changes to sink in.

The damages from the lockdown period have not yet worn off.
Enterprises that took a decade to build were snuffed in six months, and have not been rebuilt.

The sharp changes in interest rates, and the concurrent change in collateral valuations will affect things for awhile...

From your Fox article:

"Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is blaming former President Trump for the latest negative jobs report — nearly a full term after he left office.

"'Donald Trump failed Americans as president, costing our economy millions of jobs, and bringing us to the brink of recession,' Harris for President spokesperson James Singer said in a statement.

"'Now, he’s promising even more damage with a Project 2025 agenda that will decimate the middle class and increase taxes on working families, while ripping away health care, raising prescription drug costs, and cutting Social Security and Medicare — all while making his billionaire donors richer.'"

I fail to see how the actual quotes from the Harris campaign spokesperson support the Fox spin in the opening sentence.

Standard democratic blame game tactics.

I’ll guarantee you if there is the slightest uptick in the economy the Dems will take credit.

It’s straight out of their playbook.

Of course, they don't. Donald Trump is the most prolific liar in American political history, so his sycophants, here and at Faux News, follow his example.

Both sides are as bad as each other at the blame/credit game.

Edited to add that Jeff is correct in that no one can ignore the truth like Trump.

"Let the future begin!" (Really?) Somebody is writing their own campaign slogans, instead of employing professional wordsmiths, of which there are so many unemployed. Or, "Vote for me, and you'll never have to vote again!" Comedians rejoice!
