Do you have some evidence that NY doesn't prosecute other tax cheats? Hmm. I thought not.

Lack of a specific victim is not a defense to the crime. Besides which, other NY taxpayers were the victims.

having done a decent number of RE transactions, priced interesting loan deals, was the CIO of the largest bank in the US's CDO, MBS, SPV, and muni bonds branch of business, i have, well, i'll GUESS i have, just a TOUCH more experience with financial instruments than the average bear
