There are many more reports on this topic. You can Google them.

They have no interest in evidence that might conflict with their preconceived notion that Israel is always in the right.

I don’t buy into that argument. Haven’t observed that.

There are numerous well publicised accounts of atrocious behavior by Israelis (civilian and military ) on Palestinians who have nothing to do with Hamas. People who legally own a farm or land which a jewish settler takes a fancy to and just moves in a throws them off, and screams atrocity if they fight back.

There is a certain irony in your ability to look past this kind of thing yet every post you make has "A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans." under your name.

I used to cringe when I would here of a Palestinian olive grove, hundreds of years old, get bulldozed to make another settlement area.

Atrocious, like beauty, lies in the eye of the beholder.

on Palestinians who have nothing to do with Hamas.

Have not seen any of those.

I wonder if are referring to the family who’s children’s closet decorated with stuff animals hid the opening to the tunnel where the executed hostages were found.

I still do, though I admit to becoming a bit desensitized due to the frequency that such acts occur.

I don't condone anything Hamas has done, but I also don't condone just exterminating Palestinians whilst sticking my fingers in my ears whist chanting I can't hear you.

I believe the two state solution is the correct path, but the idea that regional terrorism would stop or even slow down with a sovereign Palestinian state in place is foolhardy.

I expect you are right on all counts Scott.
I have been thinking of those olive groves all afternoon.
Olive trees live for 3-600 years, and some up to 1,000. Like the sequoia, they should be sacred for all that they have seen through time.
Steve Martin said in one of his stand-ups. "I want to be the all-being, master of time, space and dimension"
I know Heym already thinks he is..... but if I was, anyone giving the order to bulldoze one of those groves would vanish from the earth!

I hear loud and clear. Not one Palestinian has said “uncle.” When I hear it…I’ll reconsider.

This would suggest you haven't looked. That's one of the drawbacks with consuming news via social media sources which are only echoing your existing opinions.

Of course there are Palestinians who are not Hamas, either because they don't agree with what Hamas are doing or more likely that they just want to get on with their lives and feed their families. If you choose to look at what is going on you would see that support for Hamas is rising amongst Palestinians. The numbers vary with differing polls, but prior to the Hamas atrocities it stood around 20%, 6 months ago it was in the low 30's and now it's around 40%.

The numbers vary between Gaza and the West Bank, the latter isn't directly controlled by Hamas (it is governed by the Palestinian Authority) but Hamas is now more popular there than the PA.

Just over half support the current war, a quarter would favour negotiations and 16% non violence.

Polls have shown that around 65% of Palestinians currently support the 7th Oct attacks, higher in the WB than Gaza. Incredibly, the majority think that Hamas will win.

Other figures show that only 5% of Palestinians believe that the actions of Hamas were a war crime, but that 80% of them haven't seen videos of what took place. Israel hasn't allowed the press into Gaza so the only information coming out is from either journalists who happened to be there on 7th Oct, or from Israeli sources who the Palestinians unsurprisingly don't trust.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/...s-now-double-fatahs/

Irrespective of the above figures (assuming those contacted by anyone undertaking a poll will be adults), around half of the population of Gaza are kids. If 50% of adults (for arguments sake) are pro Hamas and about half of the population are kids then your view is incorrect.

Wholesale slaughter of Palestinians is every bit as much a crime as the actions of Hamas.

Lane thinks so highly of Elon, maybe he ought to go back and listen to what Elon had to say in terms of how to deal with the situation. His solution as I recall was for Israel to pour in humanitarian aide after the initial Israeli response to October 7. It was to show the people you will not tolerate attacks like those staged by Hamas, but also show Palestinians that Israel was not about trying to wipe out all Palestinians. Of course, Israel did just the opposite and now they have created a whole new generation of Palestinians that will be dedicated to the destruction of Israel. Not to mention causing support for Israel to waiver throughout the world.

Listen from about 15:00 to 20:00.

Been going on since 1948.

As I said before 1% of atrocities committed are by Hamas.

99% are by the Zionists!

The modern day Nazis!

Building is hard, destruction much less so.
