Maybe Trump should just have his own forum. You can start it. Lord knows there’s enough posts do it.

If you don't have to worry about money then life probably is good.

If you don't have serious health issues then life probably is good.

If you didn't lose your home to flooding or a tornado then life probably is good.

There are MANY MANY folks out there for whom life isn't very good and for some it never will be.

trump's STUPID SHIT is just sticking the knife in and twisting it.

In Trump(ism)'s worldview is zero-sum, survival of the fittest or luckiest.

In Jefferson's world view it's the Social Contract.

Now, reconcile that!!!

I have to admit that I don’t get how folks think one side’s issues don’t exist, while their side’s does.

Trump won based on the Clinton “it’s the economy” voter logic. Yes, the media and governmental agencies were lying about the economy… but Trump’s wrecking ball approach without actual widespread action is heading towards the republicans getting their asses handed to them in about a year.

I do think those with cash and in a good position are poised to take advantage of the situation Trump created… but lots of folks who voted for him are not in that position.

Why do people identify themselves as "white" in the first place?

Why do they they classify other ethnic groups based on skin colour?

That tells me you have no investments in equities or oil. Hard for me to believe a recession would benefit your businesses.

Granted, we can stand the economic pain longer than most, but self-inflicted, unnecessary pain is just stupid.

It's a stupid, petty thing to get worked up over, for sure.

I do disagree with AP. "Black" should not be capitalized, and I refuse to do it in my own writing.

O agree with Rolland. To be honest, in most context we should just write Americans.

That said it is not for me to tell American writers, speakers, persons engaged in debate concerning ethnic concerns what to call themselves.

We capitalize words like "Asian" or "Puerto Rican" because they are named after proper nouns--the names of continents or coutries they originate in.

But there is no continent or country named "Black."

I am quite willing to capitalize "African American."

Most whites are European Americans. Ledvm should be satisfied with that.

Why do other ethnic groups of a different skin colour classify Caucasians of European descent as "white"?

Seems odd to capitalise black and not white, surely it should be one or the other for both, but I can’t see that it changes the message any whichever way around it is.

It’s always puzzled me why Americans have to sub identify themselves too. African American, Italian American etc, why aren't you just American?

You lot all went gaga when BLM was created.

They supported a career criminal, made him a hero.

And if anyone mentioned that ALL LIVES MATTER, he got accused racism!

You deserve it!

Just reminding the Little Lord of Louisville and others here that the AP is biased and does have an agenda.
