Funny, I do not know why Dems are indicting a Democrat African American executive of a major city government? Indicted him on Campaign Corruption charges on all things. The indictment seems like the DOJ seeks to apply the law and due process across the political spectrum wo favor. Our system is not perfect, but neither is any system where one man decides guilt or innocence based on money, religion or bloodline. As for Trump or Kamala, almost anybody is preferable to Trump, he has literally no redeeming qualities, but in this case, for anybody not a dedicated racist, misogynist or both, we have a very good, well qualified alternative. Kamala Harris has been a public servant for more than two decades, elected to local, state and national office and, pending the outcome in November, being re-elected or promoted every time. She's never been credibly accused of a felony, much less charged and convicted, never been sued for fraud or sexual assault, never declared bankruptcy and left her creditors holding the bag and never handled a crisis so bad it killed more Americans than all combat we've ever engaged in combined. Let's just pretend that the day Biden/Harris were inaugurated 400,000 Americans weren't already dead, new daily record deaths weren't being set throughout the month leading up to their Inauguration and millions weren't infected, while Trump petulantly refused to allow anything resembling a normal transition. Trump never accepts responsibility for anything, and his sycophants are happy to play the "deflect and whatabout" game on his behalf. Hopefully, if he loses badly in both the popular vote and electoral college, the new year will see accountability imposed on him for the first time in his life. He faces, but won't get, 5 years on each of the 34 felonies he was already found guilty of, the espionage charges his tame judge dismissed but will almost certainly be reinstated should get him the chair and he still faces the federal charges in D.C., the state charges in Georgia and likely more indictments to come once the political angle is taken out of the equation.
