The article said conspired. Did they actually put it into effect? Egg prices soared last year, but that was from bird flue or something that killed off chickens. Prices have come back down some..... True enough, but in this case since large egg producers don't sell direct to individuals they had to go through large purchasers/middlemen like WalMart who paid the higher prices and simply passed them on to store customers.
