I sure hope RFK Jr. keeps saying stupid shit. At some point he is going to start to pick off Trump supporters because nobody likes stupid shit like the Trump supporters, they eat this crap up like Cheerios.

Wait until he reveals how the chem trails are making people gay. His own family is begging people to not vote for him, that should greatly increase his traction on the right.

I believe he takes more votes from President Trump than President Biden.

Sad, but it is only because Biden and Trump are so bad that he seems like a reasonable alternative to many. Bill

I would assume that he will get a fair amount of votes as a protest to both parties. From what I have seen he seems to be pulling a bit more from Trump but both sides view him as a draw on votes.

The head to head, vs third party included, shows Biden a couple % points better in only head to head voting. Pulling from both parties yes, but hurting Biden more in recent polls.

I think RFK Jr hurts Trump more than Biden. Kooks attract kooks and it is abundantly clear that today's GOP is loaded with kooks and nut jobs. The Dems are just crazy but have not evolved to full blown kook status, e.g., Israeli space lasers, the "clot shot", Sandy Hook and January 6 were black ops, Taylor Swift is rigging NFL games, etc. Sheesh we have folks on this forum that are prepared to believe every conspiracy theory spouted by someone posting under a pseudonym on some right wing blog site.

I idly wonder why he did not pick up one of the more experienced, better-known hands for a vice presidential candidate.

Maybe someone who has actually run for president, who might seem credible for the role of stand-in?

From Forbes.
Polls show RFK Jr could hurt Biden more that Trump.
And a half dozen other articles saying the same.
Who know what the future brings, but the polls now, are saying it hurts Biden.

I thought polls captured voters intentions at the time of the poll.
What does "kook factor" have to do with that. Confused

I know he isnt sane but this is what will give RFK votes. He wont win but will sway it. My guess today is Trump. Could be wrong.

It's somewhat reassuring that most herein think RFK Jr. is not a sane man. I have thought that since he first came to my attention.

And, he will keep doing the same things over and over again, expecting favorable results (for him).

If he runs, they (nutz jobs) will come, vote for him, some because he's nutz and they know it, some who don't know or don't care. Either way it's a reflection on them. And also, IMO, those type of nutz mostly are in the Trump camp.

The thing is that he will not draw, as much as one would hope, the real nutz jobs from the right - the zealot Christian Nationalists. They are committed to Trump.

The actual polls show otherwise at this time.

I don't know, I know people who are certifiably nuts, with advanced degrees in drug abuse. They are solidly Democrat.
On the other hand, I know others who are well-educated, productive members of society who are, inexplicably, rabid Trumpeteers. I personally think, either stance may be indicative of mental instability, but there it is. Kennedy is boringly mainstream for these people. Regards, Bill.

The idea Mjines is expressing is that those who hold extreme positions “looks” do not let pollsters know those positions.

If I am wrong, Mjines will correct me.

I agree with you in spirit on both sides of the isle. That said, in my experience the ones who have the most extreme positions are always the ones in a hurry to tell you about it. I have clients of both political leanings albeit most Republican. That said, its never the moderate republican or Blue Dog Democrat that lectures you for 30 minutes. Oh and by the way, I kind of like Bobby Kennedy. Is he crazy? maybe. Would he and I agree on lots of things? no. That said I dont think hes a dictator and I dont think hes a senile old man. Really, my vote and monetary support is more of a protest to both parties being beholden to fringes.

Naw, Jines is pulling his dick and laughing to see if someone will tell him it's getting bigger.
Heym, they have margin of error built in just for the purpose of false responses. Most have Trump above the margin with RFK included ..... right now.
The Dems are seriously trying to sink RFK as he is hurting Biden by a precious few points in the swing states.
I thought Jines had new polls, but he could have posted them, instead he's pulling everyones leg.

Sort of entertaining to watch he and Trump compete for the kook vote. Who can say or express a belief in the more bizarre conspiracy rubbish. A race to the bottom. May the best man lose.

A real insurrection would be better organized. The Riot was much like a college panty raid.

Too bad they can't/won't include a choice of 5 boxes to check for why one is voting for the 3rd choice like RFK, jr.
