I do believe that folks like Musk have come to regard Milei as some sort of savant like savior. No doubt he has done some amazing things in Argentina, but will his changes stand the test of time? Who knows. Also trying to replicate what Milei has done in Argentina completely ignores the fact that Argentina and the US were in materially different places to begin with. Trump, being a complete narcissist, compulsively watches video of himself and obviously saw the much-derided part where Musk's kid picked his nose and wiped the buggers on Trump's desk. A notorious germaphobe, Trump can't sit at a desk with a kid's buggers, no matter how carefully it is cleaned, so he had the Resolute Desk removed for "refinishing", but I doubt that sandpaper and stain will allow him to forget it once had buggers and make him comfortable with it returning. In the interview from a few minutes before Musk performed "The Dance of the Chainsaw" he was wearing sunglasses to hide his pupils and was barely able to form a sentence, clearly carrying a load of his companion Ketamine.
