I do believe that folks like Musk have come to regard Milei as some sort of savant like savior. No doubt he has done some amazing things in Argentina, but will his changes stand the test of time? Who knows. Also trying to replicate what Milei has done in Argentina completely ignores the fact that Argentina and the US were in materially different places to begin with. Sort of amazing to think the US wants to try to emulate Argentina.
