I don’t bother to listen to your tape, but I suggest that who is a man or woman is not as clear cut as people suggest. Typically a man is XY and a woman is XX. What is a XXY? more significantly, sexual characteristics are determined by hormones. What is a man that his body is giving him large doses of estrogen (Jtex being a good example)? Is it that hard for you to understand Lane that different mothers provide different doses of hormones during pregnancy? Evidence of this is provided by differences between the length of the index finger and the ring finger.

Doug, you should take the time to watch that movie. Everyone should. We may all come to different conclusions but it does present both sides and has numerous medical professionals and people who went through medical procedures were interviewed. Very eye opening.

I will say for me and my opinion, what is being done to confused children is wrong.

My question is: Did these subspecies have souls and since they hadn’t been exposed to the teachings of Jesus and can’t be blamed for their behavior; are they in heaven?

The bigger picture is that we are entering an age of phantasy — an age where reality can be whatever you wish rather than what is actual.

Our culture has tabled the regular business of teaching children about coping with reality and morphed into fantasyland of manipulating reality to be as they wish it to be.

Doesn’t this start ringing bells with you critical thinkers out there with the rise in subadult perpetrators carrying out mass shootings?

As a surgeon who has both performed performed 1000s of “current standard procedures” and pioneered totally novel ones…I can tell you surgery can be a miracle and a nightmare all in one. Listen to the people in the documentary. These procedures don’t magically transform males into women nor vice versa…they are distraught with complications.

The body is not a car. It was not meant at all to be customized into our whims. And when we try…it more closely resembles the car from the Mexican chop-shop than what rolls off the Mercedes-Benz assembly line. I was taught (drilled into my head by my surgical mentors) that: “if it ain't broke…don’t fix it.” That mantra has kept me in-line with quality medicine now for 30 years. It’s difficult to sculpt a living body into a perfect perception without unintended/unforeseen consequences.

Yes, for sure, when you 21 years old…it is yours have at it.

But <21…reality and coping skills to deal with reality is what is needed. Children need truth and boundaries. Certainly tolerance of the variances are needed as well but hormones, chemicals, and scalpel blades are NOT the way forward and there is no data to support that they ever were.

Yes…our society may have needed growth/improvement on tolerance/acceptance but this huge divorce from reality into phantasy is a huge mistake and a fork in the road that should have never been taken.

As a baseball coach in “select baseball” I deal with this routinely. Less kids than more have the capability to ever hit a 75 mph fastball at 13 just a simple fact of reality. And, just because you can’t, doesn’t make you any less of a wonderful human being…maybe golf or fly-fishing is your bailiwick.

As a professional equine sports medicine doctor…I am constantly bombarded with $500,000 3 year old futurity prospects who are just simply not talented enough to compete at high-levels and are now worth $50,000. Never does surgery of medicine change that reality.

Getting back to the regular business of taking what God gave you, learning to accept it, and then making the best out of it “is where it’s at.” The sooner we get back to that reality with our youth and away from promoting phantasy…the quicker we will heal —
